Ingredients

500 gm Palak / Spinach

200 gm paneer

1 large onions / pyaz

1 large tomato / tamatar

3 green chilli / hari mirch

1/2 tbsp garam masala powder

2 tbsp oil

1 tbsp coriander powder / dhaniya powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder / haldi powder

1/2 tsp pepper powder / kali mirch powder

salt to taste

1/2 tsp red chilli powder / lal mirch powder

1/2 tsp cumin / jeera

1 tbsp butter / makhan

2 tbsp cream / malai

1 cup water

1 bay leaf / tej patta

Procedure

Boiling palak paneer

  1. Sabse pehle palak ki aakhir ki hard or moti bandia tod de or patto ko ache se dho le.
  2. Ab ek pan/kadhai le or usme pani dal ke garam hone ke liye rakh de.
  3. Pani ke garam hote he usme palak dale or use 2 minute tak tez flame par boil hone de.
  4. Dhyan rakhe ki 2 minute se zyada bilkul na pakaye taki uske nutrients bane rahe palak mei. Lid/dhakkan bilkul na lagaye, Lid lagane se palak ka natural colour change ho jayega.
  5. 1 1/2 – 2 minute baad palak ko pani se nikal ke chan le or use ek bar thande pani se bhi dho le. Taki palak or zyada cook na ho, ab palak ko mixer ke jar mei dal ke side rakh de.
  6. Palak ko abhi hum nahi grind karege.

Masala for Palak paneer

  1. Flame par ek kadhai mei oil dal ke use garam hone ke liye rakh de or tel garam hone ke baad usme jeera dal de.
  2. Jeera ka colour change hote he usme bade pieces mei kata hua pyaz dal ke 30 seconds ke liye fry kare.
  3. 30 seconds hone ke baad usme aap ginger garlic paste dale or mix kare, aap chahe to kate hue lehsun or adrak bhi dal sakte hai.
  4. Ab hari mirch do peices mei cut kar ke dale or uske baad dale bade tukdo mei kata hua tamatar.
  5.  Flame medium rakhe or usme dhaniya powder, mirchi powder, haldi dal ke ache se mix kar le.
  6. Pan mei 2-3 tbsp pani dale or 2 minute tak sabhi chezo ko ache se pakne de. 2 minute ho jane ke baad kali mirch dale or swad anusar namak dal ke mix kar le.
  7. Ab flame of kar le kyuki masala hamara ache se ready ho chuka hai.

Tadka for Palak paneer – final touch

  1. Jis mixer jar mei humne boiled palak ko dala tha use mei banaya hua masala/tadka thanda kar ke dal de.
  2. Jar mei thoda pani dale or ek smooth paste ready kar le grinder se grind kar ke.
  3. Ab ek kadhai le or usme butter/ghee dale or uske garam hote he tej patta dal ke thoda fry kare.
  4. Pan mei spinach puree dal de or ache se mix kar le, ab gravy ki consistency achi rakhne ke liye 1/2 cup pani dal de.
  5. 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder or halka sa namak dal ke 2-3 minute tak bina dhakan lagaye palak ko khule me pakaye.
  6. 2 minute hone ke baad ab isme malai ya freah cream dale or ache se mila le.
  7. Last mei bade cubes mei kate hue paneer ke tukdo ko dale or sirf 1 minute tak pakaye.
  8. Hmara tasty or healthy palak paneer bilkul ready hai.

Serving Palak paneer

  1. Serving bowl me garma garam palak paneer serve kare or use cream se aap garnish kar sakte hai.
  2. Aap palak paneer roti, naan, chawal ke sath serve kar sakte hai.
